Paediatric neurology

The main difference between paediatric neurology and adult neurology, though there are many, is it tends to involve a lot of neurodevelopmental disorders. However, there are still acute things such as:
- Encephalitis
- Meningitis
- Epilepsy - (I'm aware this isn't strictly acute but it presents acutely)
- Febrile convulsions
Neurodevelopmental disorders
The two big ones are cerebral palsy and spina bifida.
Normal assessment
Although checking development is incredibly important, there is specific assessment of hearing and vision.
